Hello,

I noticed that your daughters name is Zoe with the 2 dots . We are going to name our new baby Zoe (if it is a girl) and I was wondering if you could tell me if the two dots above the e change the meaning or origin of the name. Thanks!

Gaïa is just starting to use the potty on a more regular basis (every night before bed, usually number 1) but this morning she got up and sak to go potty. Number 2 happened! We cheered and clapped and danced... and I think it is a good way to go, really make a party out of it, they are more than willing to reproduce it afterwards.

Anyway, congratulations Zoë!

Experienced it a few months ago: what a great sensation to hear such a little human being tell you such a thing! Even though they might be too small to mean it literally like adults do, they still feel it all the time and sometimes they just need the means to say it

I have been reading some of your entries and things. You might want to read my latest post for parents that are parenting in the United States, London, England, and other places. It might give you some insight into your wife's feelings regarding raising a child with our philosophy verses her own customs.

At the moment all my daughter says is

"dad"

(silence)

"dad,dad ,dad, dad, dad."

Doesn't bother me in the slightest, but its annoying my partner

"Say Mammy" she says

(look of contempation)

"dad"

At which point I have to hide the smirk thats going to earn me a clout.
